Believe it or not, even well run poker tournaments, with the best structures in the game, can have hiccups. Case in point, after coming back from break to play Level 5, players are now kicking in a 25 ante, which usually means blinds are going up.
Except in this extended format, where the structure repeats the 100/200 blinds from Level 4.
Ten of the remaining 11 tables got it right, but table 2 took it up a notch, and increased the blinds to 150/300 when the antes were added. None of the players or the dealer caught the oversight until after playing two hands.
The situation is quickly rectified and now everyone's on the same page. Matt Brady laughed and said something that most poker players dream of hearing, "blinds are going down!"
Level 5 (100/200/25 ante) is officially in full swing.
