$350 + $50 NL
The first nine players to hit the rail will each earn $532. They've wasted no time getting rid of their chips as 6 of them have already cashed out.
While I was watching, two short-stacks got all-in. The shortest had pocket Jacks. The not-quite-so-short-stack had KT suited. The board delivered A K T A 7 and another one hit the bricks.
On a final board of K T 4 T 8, Alex Caperonis (Stanford, CT) got all-in against seat 2. Alex held pocket 4s for the full house and his opponent mucked. Alex doubled up.
"Everything I know I learned from Jason Young" said Alex.
Over on table 3, seat 8 (big blind) doubled through seat 5 when the board came 9 5 2 9 9. Seat 5 held pocket Kings for 9s full, but seat 8 held 95 suited for quadzilla to take the pot.
End of level and the remaining 21 players took off for a break. Play resumed with 2k/4k blinds and 400 antes.

Event 16: In the Money!
$350 + $50 NL
They got to 30 players and broke table 4, spreading the big-stacks among the other three tables. Three more players would leave with nothing.
After a raise to 6,800, a short-stack moved all-in for 10,600 more. The raiser called, showing A5 suited. The short-stack held K4 off. The board came J 4 2 8 3 and the raiser made a wheel to take the pot.
One down. 29 players remain.
Seat 4 limped. Todd Rebello raised to 6,700. Seat 9 called. Seat 1 (small blind) was all-in for 2,500. The big blind came along for the flop of Q 7 6 with two clubs. Seat 4 bet 10k. Todd called. Seat 9 folded. Turn was an offsuit 9 and seat 4 bet 70k. Todd gave it some thought, then folded. The all-in player held pocket 5s and needed an 8 on the river because seat 4 held pocket 6s for a set. River was a Ten, however, and seat 4 took both pots.
Two down. 28 players remain. Bubble-time. Hand-for-hand play.
Christopher Smith opened for 8k and Vinny Scavo (Yardley, PA) called. Seat 10 came along from the big blind. The flop came J J T rainbow. Christopher checked, Vinny bet 12k, seat 10 folded, Christopher check-raised to 42k straight, Vinny moved all-in (64,400) and Christopher called.
Vinny showed him pocket Aces. Christopher held KQ suited for the open-ender. He needed a 9 or an Ace (which were in short supply). But the last two cards came 5 2 and Vinny doubled up. He's now the chip leader with over 240k. Christopher was left with less than 7k.
On the next hand, Christopher moved all-in for 6,400 and both blinds called. They checked down the board of K J 4 5 7. Christopher showed QJ for a pair of Jacks, but the small blind held AJ for the same pair with better kicker.
Christopher Smith was busted in 28th place, earning the title of today's bubble-boy (and nothing else).
The final 27 players are now all in the money. They also moved up a level to blinds of 1,500/3,000 with 400 antes.

Event 15: Bang, Bang
$500 + $60 NL Deep Stack
While on the bubble, two all ins happen simultaneously at two separate tables. Table 4 is the classic KK running into AA. Both players flop a set, but Lindell King (Alliance, OH) and his aces are good, as he adds 145k to his stack.
At Table 7, the all-in is for 87k (hand info unavailable) and the bust out officially makes the player in the back of the room the bubble boy. That's good news for Brooklyn, NY based poker author Peter Alson (Take Me to the River), who's pocket kings is now in the money (based on last hand chip counts). Alson is the first to cash, collecting $729.
The remaining 53 players are bagging and tagging as play is done for the night. "The money is nice," says King, who finishes with 618k, "but I'm here to win."
Play resumes noon Tuesday as players vie for the first place prize of $69,226.

Event 15: #56 Exits, 56 left
$500 + $60 NL Deep Stack
With 59 players left, a player wearing a Lawrence Taylor jersey at table 3 loses his all in and heads to the rail. The guy wearing the New York Giants #56 helps lower the number to 56 players.
Hand for hand is underway on the seven remaining tables as we're now two spots from the money. Make that one from the money as another bust, puts the field at 55.
Blinds are up and are now 6k/12k/2k ante (Level 19).

Event 5: Face without a Name
$500 + $60 NL Deep Stack
AK vs AK vs AK isn't a battle you see very often, but it pops up on table three with a surprise ending.
One player is all in preflop for 70k, the two remaining players with big slick wait to see a flop of 3♠ 7♠ Q♦.
The 210k pot gets an additional 140k when the other two jam it in. It looks like a three way chop, until the board goes runner, runner diamonds to give A♦ K♦ the whole lot.
The player who takes it down doesn't want to reveal his name, so for now, a picture will have to suffice. If you know this man, please contact www.missingpokerplayernames.com
