Robert "Action Bob" HwangBob Hwang (Barnegat, NJ) opened for 3k utg and got four callers. The flop came J♥6♣4♣ and the small blind checked. "Action Bob" bet 12k, and David Peters of Toledo, OH, (who finished 3rd in the $7,200 event a couple of days ago for $58k) went into the tank for a bit. He eventually opted to raise to 32k straight. The other three players folded and Bob took a few seconds before announcing he was all-in (48k on top). David called quickly, showing T♣8♣ for a flush draw. Bob was ahead with pocket Jacks. The last two peeled off 3♦9♥ and Action Bob doubled up.
After paying off Bob, David was left with only 2,200. 200 went into the ante on the next hand and he moved all-in for 2k. Action folded to Bob, who was now the big blind. He called the extra 800 chips without looking at his cards, which turned out to be 4♦2♣. David held J♣6♣ and was ahead, but clubs have not been good to him. The board came 7♦5♦3♦9♣K♦ giving Bob a flush and the last of David's chips.
End of level 10 and 52 remaining players took off for a ten minute break.
