Event 1: Big Stacks Get Bigger
On a K T 7 flop, Vincenzo Porta (Jersey City) was all-in against Michael Johnson (Pittsburgh, PA). Vincenzo thought his KJ (top pair) was good, but Michael held T7 for two pair. The last two were blanks and Vincenzo was a goner.
Michael has continued to run over his table and is now up to about 310k.
Kerry Small (Ventnor City, NJ) doubled up when he got all-in on an A 3 2 flop. His opponent held AJ for top pair, but Kerry held AK for top pair with boss kicker.
On a board of J 7 7 9, Vinny Pahuja moved all-in, putting James Ware (Philadelphia, PA) to the test. After a bit of thought, James called, showing pocket 4s. Vinny was caught bluffing with KQ suited (nothing but a gutshot). River was a 5 and after the count-down, Vinny was covered and busted. James is now over 200k.

Just wanted to point out that Pahuja had 18 outs on the J779 board with KQ against 44. Substantially more than "nothing but a gutshot" as originally reported.
