Event 1: Two Ladies Left

Just two women left in the tournament, Jue Wang (Atlantic City, NJ) & Cortney Scheiner (Toronto, Canada).

Cortney has 970,000 and is beating Jue's short stack. But both women have obviously played well to make it this far.

Jue won her last tournament against 700 men eighteen years ago. I told her she's due. "If I can make it to the final table it would be unique".

Cortney is also gunning for the final table. "I want this final table as a birthday present." Scheiner's b-day occurs at midnight.

Courtney told me she played solid, tight-aggressive poker all day and admitted had a little luck too. Being the last woman standing means a lot to Courtney and she'd be proud to hold the title.
