Event 17: 54 Players Remain

$170 + $30 (NL, Re-Entry)

They've just broken the 7th table here in the back of the Poker Room. Just six 9-handed tables are still in action. With 54 players still hanging on, the average stack is over 157k. They're currently playing 5k/10k blinds with 1k antes. This means an average stack has less than 16 big blinds. Cost per round (CPR) is 24k. That means an average stack can only survive six and a half orbits before being blinded off.

Not that they're going to just sit and be blinded off. The cries of "All-In" are occurring often. I watched pocket 6s doubled up against QJ. A3 suited held up against KJ to double up another short-stack.
