Event 17: New Chip Leader Emerges

$170 + $30 (NL, Re-Entry)

As the short stacks make their desperation shoves, the big stacks are gobbling them up. In a recent confrontation, one player was all-in with A5 off. Another was all-in with QJ suited. The big stack, Alex Reynov (South Hampton, PA) held AT suited and was ahead. Then the board came T 3 3 T and the river was irrelevant because Alex had turned a full boat. He scooped the pots and two more players reported to the payout desk. Alex is up to about 780k.

38 players remain. The average stack is up to 223k.

End of level and players are taking ten.
