If he's got king-eight suited in his hand, Shelly Gross (Hillsboro, FL) is going to play it. Three times in this tournament Gross has flopped a flush with K8s and he's gotten paid every time.

"Probably 40 thousand," is Gross' guesstimate on how much he's raked with the hand. Gross is sitting on 70k and is the unofficial chip leader. Another healthy stack at the table is Howard Wolper (Atlantic City, PA) who's at 52k and says, "by playing brilliantly" is how he's gathered the chips.
