On a flop of A♣9♠8♦ Seat 6 bet 800. Tom Guliano (Upstate NY) took some time, then decided to call. Turn was the 8♠, pairing the board, and Seat 6 fired 1,800. Again Tom burned some time-bank, finally opting to call. River was the 9♣, double-pairing the board. Seat 6 fired 4k without hesitation.

Tom tanked again for a couple of minutes, then made the call. Seat 6 insta-mucked. Tom showed pocket Queens, which explained the difficulty he had calling on the Ace-high, double-paired board. "I had outs" said seat 6 with a smile.
