More Notables

Paul Spitzberg is hiding under a WSOP baseball cap here in The Signature Room.

I hiked over to the Poker Room, where tournament tables are scattered throughout, intermixed with the cash games, to see who was playing over there, and came up with a couple of names:

We do have some WSOP bracelet holders in our midst. Mike 'Little Man' Sica is back in the high limit area. He won his hardware in 2004 playing No Limit Hold'em, cashing for more than half a million bucks. His lifetime tournament earnings has now topped the million mark. Farzad Rouhani is in the poker room tournament area. His lifetime tournament earnings have topped $1.6 million. He collected his bracelet in 2008 playing Omaha Hi/Lo and Stud Hi/Lo.

Robert Varkonyi

Of course Robert Varkonyi, winner of the 2002 WSOP Main Event is here. He took home $2 million for that victory and got to shave Phil Hellmuth's head on camera.
