The player in seat 8, the big blind, checked to Mark Hansen (Chester Springs, PA) who fired 1,600. Then seat 8 check-raised to 5k straight. After a bit of thought, Mark kicked it on up to 15k. Seat 8 quickly moved all-in and Mark insta-called.
The big blind held A♥ 3♥ for the flopped nut flush, but Mark held pocket Kings for the rivered full boat. The player in seat 8 was stunned by his misfortune as he became the first player to report to the rail today. Mark has just about doubled his starting stack of 25k.
