Joseph Capalbi had his fanbase of on-lookers laughing. Telling jokes about how with this final table he can now afford some new glasses since his old one's just broke and how he can't really see what cards he has and is raising with. Then suddenly the crowd quiets upon Gene Castro uttering two simple words, "All In".
Gene's first position 750,000 shove folds around to Ben Stein's small blind. He thinks a minute then calls with pocket eights.
Aces improve on a board of 10-A-2-6-Q.
Gene told me he thought his raise made it most obvious what he had. Still Stein gambled.
