Event 4: Howdy Pilgrim!
Dwyte Pilgrim (Brooklyn, NY) caught fire in 2009, winning a preliminary WSOP Circuit Event and a WSOP Circuit Championship and cashing too many times to count. That fire has continued to burn bright in 2010. He started off with two wins in the Southern Poker Championship at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS, then followed that up with a Mega Stack Challenge win at Foxwoods. He then proceeded to claim his third WSOP Circuit Ring at Harrah's Rincon last month.
He's still on fire as he just dispatched Brent Hanks to the rail. On a Queen-high flop, Hanks got all-in holding pocket Kings, only to see Dwyte's pocket Queens had made a set. The board blanked out and Hanks was plucked. Dwyte's up to about 51k.
Jared Davis has become our third casualty of the day. The players over on table 1 carved up his stack until there was nothing left.
