The Seniors got underway shortly after noon in the Poker Room and just took their second break. They started with 10,000 chips and 40 minute levels.
Tony ShurillaAfter four levels of play, Tony "the Original Gorilla" Shurilla (father of Borgata blogger Jeff "Gorilla" Shurilla) reports he's down to 8,500 chips. He got caught holding the under-full, beat by a bigger boat. He then picked up some chips with a big blind special, holding K3 and flopping two Kings.
"How long did it take you to figure out this was a Seniors event?" said one player, as he looked out over the field of gray-haired players. 242 Seniors entered this event.
Play resumed after the break with Level 5, blinds 150/300 and 25 antes.
